I am enclosing a patio 13′ X 6′ which has 2, 72*X 81″ tall brick walls and one 55″tall X112″long plus with gate cut out 15″x40″. Another wall cutout for an existing window 55″ X 69″ in my unit’s kitchen facing the patio. This must be a freestanding enclosure, with windows on the shorter wall (facing the light and river} and skylights on the roof. Will you foundation and wall framing support this weight? Can the yard pod be customized for this all season dining room. Cost estimate for the framing ? Are these standard metal frames which would be cut?

      Thanks for your message.
Sorry, but I am unable to understand the layout and where the YardPod would be built.
Please can you email a photograph to me at: md@yardpods.com?

This sounds like a very interesting project, I wish you success with it. We have successfully placed YardPods on existing concrete pads for garages and greenhouses which were strong enough to support the loads. However, a site inspection is essential. My recommendation is to engage a local general contractor who will be able to survey the existing patio and walls and determine how best to accomplish your goals. The patio may or may not be strong enough to support a building, most likely it will need additional foundation work.

I’m interested in a basic kit being assembled on a trailer 8×12.. is this possible? If the trailer is in No.Cali would you be able to quote me a price?

Thanks for your question. Yes, it would be simple to assemble a YardPod on a flat trailer bed (without wheel wells). However, YardPods are not designed to be towed on the road and should only be used in a static location.
